If you've ever dreamed of a fairytale wedding, where better than in a place with a storybook castle?

Disney parks around the world have always offered first-class wedding packages, and Hong Kong Disneyland is no exception. In fact, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has won three awards in the ESDlife Bridal Awards 2006, including the prestigious Best of the Best Award.

Hong Kong Disneyland offers three different packages, but all three come with:

• Personalized 'Fairy Tale Wedding' certificates
• A decent choice of wedding invitation card designs
• On-site personal wedding specialist

The more you pay, the higher your cake!

Additionally, there are three major wedding packages - Crystal, Emerald and Diamond - that all depend on how much you want to spend. In fact, the main difference between the $7888 HK Crystal Package and the $10,888 HK Diamond Package appear to be a 'wedding cake' as opposed to an 8-tier wedding cake with the more expensive package. The middle-range Emerald Package, at $9388 HK, gets you a 5-tier cake*.

All packages include a one night's stay at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, background music selection, a dinner banquet, floral table decorations and gifts and photographs for the couple. Naturally, the selection and extravagance of the features goes up accordingly with the price.

The big difference with the Diamond Package is certainly one that will go a long way with real Disneyland fans. Not only do all their guests receive Disneyland gifts, but the newlyweds receive six regular day tickets to the park!

'Plus' Your Wedding

As well as the standard packages mentioned above, you can 'plus' your wedding with what Disney likes to call 'Elegant Additions'. These include things such as:

• Disney character appearances
• Live musicians and entertainment, and other audiovisual touches
• Customised backdrops
• Limousine services
• Disney-themed desserts
• Floral designers and arrangements

There are also a range of beverage packages ranging from HK$1680 to HK$2280.
