Story

It's not HarMar Superstar, but it there are Towel ornaments! Lots of towel ornaments! They are like regular towels, but magically transformed into animals! This is only phase one of three! THREE!

HONG KONG (December 7, 2007) Christmas is coming and Hong Kong Disneyland Cast Members want to share the joy of this happy time with those in need in our community. “Disney Christmas HarMagic - Preparing Towel Ornaments” has received great response from our Cast Members. In the five-day program, our Cast Members have made about 3,000 towel ornaments, which will be presented to the elderly in the community who live alone.

Hong Kong Disneyland Cast Members are dedicated to participating in volunteer work with the aim of helping the community. In the past five days, many Cast Members have contributed their personal time to learn how to turn normal face towels into Christmas reindeer ornaments.

“Disney Christmas HarMagic” aims at promoting family harmony through a three-phase program targeted at underprivileged kids, their families and the elderly. After the creation of these towel ornaments, Disney VoluntEARS will prepare goodie bags together with orphans and children from single-parent families in mid December in order to present these goodie bags to the elderly who live alone at Christmas. This program not only shows the spirit of Disney VoluntEARS, but we hope it will bond different groups in need as they help and support each other at this special time of year.

Hong Kong Disneyland is dedicated to the “Disney Christmas HarMagic” program. Please watch out for the second and the third phases of the program.
