EasterAfter a few months of speculation, and about two weeks to go until Chocolate Bunny Day, Disney has finally unveiled their Easter plans for the park. Significantly more extensive than last year, the park and hotels will come alive with activities and merchandise, as this press release explains.

 

 




Hong Kong Disneyland is offering the ultimate Easter getaway this spring with an array of exciting activities at the Park and two Disney hotels. Perfect for small or large families and groups of friends, a mini break at the Resort is priced from only HK$1,100 per room per night at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel. Guests can also take advantage of the special hotel Stay and Play for 2 Days offer that allows admission to Hong Kong Disneyland Park over two days for the price of one.




With a host of Easter-inspired kids’ activities, specially created menus at some of the Resort’s most popular restaurants, and new extra-cute Easter merchandise, Hong Kong Disneyland has something for everyone this Easter.

From April 5 to 9, 2007 (12:00pm – 5:00pm), a special “Easter Kid Zone” will be located at Fantasyland where kids can make their very own Easter “bunny cap”. Adventureland will feature a “Wild About Safety Kid Zone” from April 4 to 10, 2007 (12:00pm – 5:00pm) allowing children to learn more about safety and demonstrate their creative flair with a vibrant coloring-in activity.




Kids can also take part in an “Easter Photo Hunt” from April 5 to 9, 2007 and test their investigative skills as they follow “photo clues” leading them to famous landmarks and attractions around the Park where they will receive special Disney stickers for cracking the clues.




The Easter fun will continue for children visiting either of the two Disney themed hotels which will offer Easter games from April 5 to April 15, 2007. With activities including “Mission: Save the bunny”, “Egg Hunting in the wild”, and “Magic Easter Egg”, kids are sure to have an unforgettable Easter at Hong Kong Disneyland.

Tasty Easter meals on offer at the Park from March 31 to April 15, 2007, include an Easter Special menu (HK$108) at Corner Café, an 8-Course Easter Special menu (HK$175 per person; minimum two persons) at Plaza Inn, Century Egg with Chilled Bean Curd (HK$35) and Happy Three Favored Egg (HK$45) at Riverview Café, Roast Spring Chicken (HK$55) at Royal Banquet Hall, and Easter Assorted Cookies (HK$28) and Happy Bunny Buns (HK$12) at Market House Bakery.




From April 5 to 9, 2007, the two Disney themed hotels will also be serving mouth-watering Easter treats. Guests visiting Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel can feast on the delicious Enchanted Garden Easter Lunch (HK$298 adult, HK$135 child) and Dinner Buffet (HK$398 adult, HK$180 child), or the Grand Salon’s Easter Tea Buffet (HK$168 adult, HK$88 child).




Disney's Hollywood Hotel will also tantalize guests’ taste buds, with Chef Mickey serving an Easter Lunch Buffet (HK$198 adult, HK$99 child) and Dinner Buffet (HK$298 adult, HK$149 child), and Studio Lounge serving a delectable Easter Relax Afternoon Tea Set (HK$78).

Guests looking for Disney memorabilia will have plenty to choose from, with about 20 new Easter-themed merchandise items available from March 22, 2007.




Items which are sure to delight families and friendship groups include cute plush toys, adorable key chains, collectable pins, consumables and cell phone accessories.




Guests from around the city looking for a fun Easter getaway with their immediate or extended family and friends can take advantage of the “Stay and Play for 2 Days” offer which entitles guests booking a hotel stay to a complimentary extra day at the Park when they purchase a one-day ticket.
