In 2007 Hong Kong Disneyland created an all-new "Dark World" Halloween event, including the unique nighttime Glow in the Park Parade.
Another parade unique to the Hong Kong park, Glow in the Park features 7 floats and over 100 cast members to create a ghoulish but fun nighttime spectacle for park guests. This impressive parade literally glows in the dark at select moments during the procession, changing the face of Main Street, USA as dark forces take hold. Be sure not to miss the spine-chilling arcobatic bungee dancers or the wicked antics as characters try to entice guests into their dark world during the spooktacular UV glow in the dark show stops.
Although the parade runs the entire length of the Hong Kong Disneyland parade route from Fantasyland, the best place to enjoy this spectacle is on Main Street, USA, where the surrounding environment is fully transformed and the UV glow in the dark effect occurs.
This scarily good parade concludes with your favourite Disney pals riding on the original graveyard float from the Halloween Costume Mini-Parade of 2006. As the Glow in the Park Parade features 2 altered floats from the regular daytime parade, performances of Disney on Parade are somewhat different during the Halloween season.
Photos of this seasonal nighttime spectacle spooking the streets of Hong Kong Disneyland can be found in the Halloween 2007 Gallery.
