Tailor-made for rainy-days, Mickey's Rainy Day Express runs when the weather is too wet to run the scheduled daytime parade. It offers guests a little of the fun and excitement that they can expect from the normal parade, in a shortened form.
Mickey's Rainy Day Express consists of a bright four carriage train that travels along the normal parade route from Fantasyland to Main Street, USA. Each carriage is filled with characters from the regular parade, dancing to the train's specially-compused tune. Dancers from the regular parade may join Mickey's Rainy Day Express, forming a procession of colour and fun down the parade route, although this is not always the case. On particularly inclement days the Disney characters onboard the train will also be wearing their raincoats to protect them from the wet.
Photos of this poor weather-proof parade in Hong Kong Disneyland can be found in the Scenes from the Park Gallery.
